Anyone read a book called Fixed?

Has anyone read the Book "Fixed: Global Fixed-Gear Culture by Andrew Edwards and Max Leonard.
People do say it is a very good book.

I own a very old (chromed) ccm track bike like the silver one on page 17. It is the first time i have seen a picture of a chromed track (like my bike) bike circa 1937. I believe it is called a"ccm flyer".

I think I will ask our local library wether they can get a copy in.
I haven't had too much success at requesting books from our local library but i'll try.

Ive got this book and if youre into fixed gear bikes I'd highly recommend it. It covers everything from old school track racing to modern day kieren racing, couriers ,fixed gear scene in San Fran, London and new york. But the best thing about it is there is an absolute s#*tload of photos to drool over.

I have a copy of that book. I found it a TORRENT of information.
