Did the frame originally take a 28" inch rim? Those new rims look okay clearance wise, they 700c?

looks nice, but that's one hell of a gear ratio you plan on riding.

I can see the idea, and I can see the appeal. Kinda slack old path rider with 700c on a frame for 28in wheels. I expect there'll be changes, those bars and stem and that brake lever would probably do my nut. Let us know about the gearing, and how it all shakes out for you.

been riding for a week now and are really digging it
i did swap out the pedals and are running little wellgo ones with a gold cage, getting the toe clips and brown leather straps to match
where i live is pretty flat and the gearing is a little hard but i have gotten used to that now
good runabout so far

i recently found a bike called a kenlight which had seemed to have done about 20k's and had about 2mm of dust
