CINELLI GAZETTA ANYONEanyone have one of these?
or can recommend something similar looking for a short responsive track style frame but comfortable enough for urban riding
Re: CINELLI GAZETTA ANYONEwhats size and what budget?
Re: CINELLI GAZETTA ANYONEi like small bikes
around 52cm prefer steel budget anywhere from $500 - $1500 (depending on quality of parts and frame)
Re: CINELLI GAZETTA ANYONEive got an 80's fiorelli real tight geo thats a 53 and a heap of parts i could build it up to almost any budget.
Re: CINELLI GAZETTA ANYONEThis guy (Adam from Velocity wheels) on fixed.org has Cinelli Gazzeta for 550 and 20 for shipping.
Re: CINELLI GAZETTA ANYONEWow... they are nice frames. Is there an Aussie importer?
My steamroller has become a bit meh.... Would like a new 'poseur' frame... Kym

Re: CINELLI GAZETTA ANYONEnew one currently on ebay and it is a 53cm (either 52 or 54cm according to the Cinelli) (if it was a 56cm I would be tempted) http://cgi.ebay.com.au/New-Demo-Cinelli-Gazzetta-Frameset-/270686889526 otherwise Wiggle around $570 + $60 shipping or PBK $530 + $40 shipping

Re: CINELLI GAZETTA ANYONEonly thing im a bit weary about is the fork
wouldn't a lugged fork be better looking and stronger? (maybe its just me being fussy)
Re: CINELLI GAZETTA ANYONEThe frame is not luggeed its mitred and tig welded so thats why its not a lugged fork but as for strenghth no real big diftheir a nice frame but i paid a bit more and got the vigorelli that i loved .Theres no Australian distributer for cinelli at the moment but Adam @velocity is importing the frames.
Re: CINELLI GAZETTA ANYONEPersonal preference I suppose... but I guess I prefer the traditional geometry & proportions of the Gazetta over the Vig.
Oohh... Wiggle has the Gazetta for 630 AUD! A 60cm in green, thanks very much... Kym

Re: CINELLI GAZETTA ANYONEI'm seriously considering buying one
What I'm unsure about at this stage is how well it will stand up to the rigours of the track, as that's what I'll be using it for. It definitely seems like they've targeted it squarely at street fixie riders HMM
Re: CINELLI GAZETTA ANYONE http://www.probikekit.com/display.php?code=J0095 $530 at pbk plus use code extra10aus for another 10% off. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/CINELLI-GAZZETTA ... 022wt_1141 .
Its a fixed street bike not a track hence the bottle mounts.
Re: CINELLI GAZETTA ANYONEI'm a street rider who rides with brakes so I like the fact it's drilled fron & rear for calipers. No pretense about riding track from me... but I do like the idea of something lighter, more nimble and better finished than my present show pony Steamroller. Before I kitted out my daily rider workhorse FG Ricardo conversion (Tange 900 DB Cro Moly) with its racks & guards,I realised what brick the Steamroller is.
I'd like to drop the deep Vs for something lighter as well. Kym

Re: CINELLI GAZETTA ANYONE
Interesting that the PBK pages makes a note that their stock is arriving sans the bottle mounts. It's something I'd want. Kym

Re: CINELLI GAZETTA ANYONE
how is the comfort of the vigorelli on the street/footpath?
Re: CINELLI GAZETTA ANYONEmine was epic it is a little harsher than old steel but the carbon fork helps a lot,
It was its geometry that was the best i had it with risers mine was a 2010 from pbk, It was about $610 at my door you will love it i sold mine to fund my llewellyn build.
