Some sort of hipster fashion statement nonsense. I use the regular plain steel ones.

Yup. Just laziness. I do it properly - colour in with a felt-tip pen and touch up after every ride.

C'mon guys surely you want something to match your socks. Suppose that's where the muck & grime come in. Is anyone going to own up to a coloured chain? Or is the risk too much?

I have a gold one on my MTB. TiN for function though rather than anything cooler I am sorry.
I will only be getting TiN chains. It is a great coating and combined with the PE makes for a silent ride!

Must have been tight arse Tuesday when you built that one hey OX.Oxford wrote:ignore the 20" wheel, its just there while I was having a new rear wheel built. these are the left over bits of 6 commuter chains joined together, waste not want not. stronger and more reliable than any chain on a derailleur bike.tnt wrote:C'mon guys surely you want something to match your socks. Grumps
You are very tedious, and grumpy. Stay at home and give advice from your armchair.
