really good thanks man, thx for asking.
I'm noticing I'm not any overpedalling anywhere now. It's a fantastic gear compromise all up. Hills aren't really any harder. I do notice a slight degradation in acceleration, but the momentum built up carries well
It's only going to make me stronger anyway.
Before the cog changeover, my to-work average speeds were around 26kph, I got 28.8kph the other morning....happy!

Even averaging 23kph+ homebound

...interesting sideline. today I tried out my girlfriends Giant Cross City 1 to see how a gear bike compared. I did some basic no.s in my head and expected the geared bike to blow my riding times out of the water. hers is a lighter bike by 0.5kg and yet i was slower all up!? That was going to work (basically downhill) AND also going home!! It was a totally unexpected result. I was really surprised. I can't admit to using the gears optimally, but yeah, surprising. It struck me how much I control the bike in SS-ing. i seem to flow over elevations MUCH faster on my SS. Maybe because i know I HAVE to work in order to achieve that? and with geared i know can cheat? not sure.
