Yellow puncture 'resistant' 700x23c tyres...

Postby Vishesh » Sun Nov 20, 2011 2:22 pm

Anyone know if there are any yellow puncture 'resistant' 700x23c tyres. I need (want) a pair for my commuter/SS/fixie.

So far I like the Conti SuperSport ones due to their acclaimed puncture resistance, but would prefer something in yellow.

Any ideas - thanks!

Maxxis Re-Fuse at Velogear.

I don't know how good they are in yellow but the black 23s I commuted on did the job nicely.

Halo Twin Rail are available in yellow, i can't comment on the standard twin rail as i have the Berlin hard compund version which has a puncture protection belt twice as thick but given it has so far lasted 3 times longer than any other 700c tyre i've used, it would be worth a try.

The Maxxis Refuse tyres go past 6 or 8000km without a puncture for me. Colours don't appear to wear any differently.

conti GP 4000 (not S) are probably a whack less puncture resistant, but come in several different yellowy shades. Roll quite nicely too imo.
