Please help identiify my frame

Postby TheRedTexta » Mon Mar 26, 2012 12:37 pm

48cm 46cm
Hi,

picked up this bike a couple of years ago and i'm starting to do a little bit of work on it. I was just wondering if it was worth the money i'm planning to spend on it. It has no serial numbers that i can see. It's all lugged, the top tube is 48 cm and the seat tube is 46 cm. My local bike shop had no idea. Here are some

Dunno how to use img tags with Flickr, but here are some links to the OP's photos:

Hey RedTexta, it might help more if you posted a pic of the whole bike. From what I see in the pics, it doesn't seem to be anything special. It seems to be in very good condition though.

Sorry about the broken links. Just uploaded some pics of the bike in full.

The bike came with the handlebars, seat and front wheel. The only changes i have made are a new back wheel (old one buckled beyond repair), new bottom bracket, crank and pedals. Thanks for your help!

How you have it now, I wouldn't spend any more coin on it. For what it is it's cool but if you want a project that you want to pour coin into, ie, sweet fixed gear/track bike, then put the money into getting a proper track frame!

Ahh because i was considering getting a respray job done on it and fitting it with a pair of monark springers. Not worth it?

If you really want to do it, do it.

I personally wouldn't though.
