Light weight carbon single speed....idea

I am thinking of building a light weight single speed - but going against most of what I see here I want to do it with carbon frame, 50mm tublars, maybe disc brakes and a belt drive.

I am going with BB30 Carbon frame and something like a Beer Components eccentric bottom bracket.

What I am chasing is a good quality single speed hub that also comes with disc bakes are these out there?

Probably chicken out on the tubs but it would be cool I think....

Hi Steve, thanks exactly what I was looking at doing.

I was looking at the ICAN SP-AC024 generic Chinese carbon frame with BB30 and using the BEER components EBB. The frame looks exactly the same as the On-One Dirty Disco.

Its not belt and I wasn't going to go carbon wheels but the idea of carbon disc single speed is appealing to me.

I looked at the Origin8 rear hub but I think I'll go down the path of a normal XT rear hub and just use spacers with a single cog. Not the most elegant solution but it's what I use on my current single speed and it means I could quite easily go back to a 1x10 setup if I wanted.

Interested to hear how you build goes or what bits your looking at.
