Eno Eccentric alternativeAny of you lot come across a knockoff or the like of a Eno eccentric suinglespedd hub?
Re: Eno Eccentric alternative
Can't say I have... but always thought the original pretty exxy for what they are. Probably more a case of relatively low production AND cashing in on the FG/SS revival/fad. You would've thought some of those flattering plagiarists in China might've come up with something by now. I know when I was riding the FG wave double toe straps were all ludicrously priced until a few rebranded generics came along. All manner of half finished projects and a bit of randonneuring I used to be tech-savvy. Now I'm just tech-weary.
Re: Eno Eccentric alternativeI think I remember reading on Saint Sheldon's pages somewhere you can file an edge of the axle that sits in the dropouts to give you (upto) a few mm's worth of 'adjustment'. Not especially elegant... but...

Re: Eno Eccentric alternativeThey're expensive, but the quality is amazing; an eno is actually worth it.
Re: Eno Eccentric alternative
I run some white hubs. They are excellent and, relative to the competition (Chris King, Alchemy etc), superb value.
Re: Eno Eccentric alternativeNot if the rest of the bike is a P.o.S.

Re: Eno Eccentric alternativeI love my eno. I would definitely make the investment - you will only need to spend the money once as they are absolutely bulletproof.
Re: Eno Eccentric alternative
Cheaper to buy a proper track frame in that case lol!
