How to see the piccies

Postby Groggles » Fri Jul 25, 2008 12:09 pm

I have just joined up to the forum :) It started looking at news and views on the tour de France ... and then grew from there. Now looking through this group I am wondering if I should convert my old carbon Trek MTB or my old geurcotti to a fixed ...
But I have strayed offtopic before even starting with my query: how to view the piccies that some of you have posted in your threads. I had alook in the FAQ but that didnt help me.

Cheers

Greg

I found the answer to my own question: my work restricts access to (some) images. Your bikes must be too good looking to look at at work ...

cheers

Pron pictures !! .. of the bike pron type

It will generally be because your work will block/filter imageshack, flickr etc.

Hey Grog...

Yeah you're right.... some corporate proxies/internet filters black list a lot of sites by default. I can't even view the pics that I have posted of my own stuff from home at work.

such sites often include hotmail.com, imageshack.us, gmail.com, flickr.com. picacsa.com.. blah blah blah. You can read the forum itself, but of course where links go to one of these sites you get the broken link icon.

Try emailing it to yourself.

Turn on html format, "insert picture" using the external url of the photo.

Sometimes works...

Don't blame me if you 'get the sack'
