18ks is not that bad ...
there are lot on the market that come in around that... both my homebuilds are 23.... and I've done near 20,000ks on them... True I'd love one that was 10ks but I can't see that coming about just now Anyway it looks a nice job to me
(to really steampunk the thing...)
And now for an art deco tailbox? Weight really isn't an issue where art is the governor.

Here we see the difference between style and fashion. Sorry Graeme and Hotdog, but your Bacchettas look like amateur hour next to this Great effort LIQFITS. ...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

"Eye of the beholder", methinks ...
I see a few places where improvements can be made (and have been on the Bacchettas ...). What's important though is that he made this himself, and that's nothing to be sneezed at. Cheers, Graeme Think outside the double triangle.
