Found Recumbent Rider

Hi, I am wondering if any of you guys ride over near the Homebush area on a Saturday at all?

I am asking because there is a gentleman who sustained a neck injury several years ago and he is looking at having a turn on a trike to see how he goes. He has limited movement on one side and a balance issue so a standard bike is out of the question.

He lives over in the Homebush area so happy to meet at Homebush or another park which is convieniant. He drives so location is flexible.

He basically just wants to sit on it and would only ride a extremely short distance to get a feel of it. He is not up to much more than that so there is no problem with him taking off with the trike.

He is a lovely guy and very keen to get involved with cycling and around like minded people so if you are willing to spare an hour, please let me know, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Karen.

Thank you to Recumbenteer for the loan of his trike. We had a great morning and there is a new addict on his way to getting a new recumbent soon.

Thanks, yes it is great news. It definately made my morning seeing someone get on a bike for the first time in years and manage far better than they expected. I have a feeling in the near future someone will be racing competetively. :D
