Brisbane recumbent dealer

Postby clarinetcola » Mon Jan 19, 2009 10:09 pm

Hi all
I've noticed that recumbent & recumbent shops in other parts of Oz have been fairly active compared to brisbane. I'm currently riding a df bike and considering trying out some recumbents. Could anyone suggest retailers/dealers of bents in brisbane?

thanks!

Nathan

Hi Nathan,

Welcome to the forum.

It may seem like there are 'bents for sale around the country, but in truth, there's really only one full-time seller of 'bents in Australia: Flying Furniture, in Canberra. There's another guy here in Perth also selling 'bents (part time) - that's Craig at Just Bents ( www.justbents.com.au ).

I bought mine over the net through FF. My guess is you'll be doing something similar (ie, buying online).

Cheers,
Graeme

If North Tamborine is near Brisbane, then give these great people a try.

Speedpedal carries trikes only. If you are after trike, Georgina is great to deal with. For bikes, FF would be your best bet.

Nice low racer Brad. I was wondering what you will get after you had sold your M5.

Hi Nathan, Yes we currently have Greenspeed demo trike available for test ride. We usually take the trike to you so you can test it out in your own environment. Not sure what sort of recumbent you are interested in...But we are in your area! Regards, Georgina (AT) Speed Pedal.
