No it's not, it's the beard that goes with it (off to actually read the article now). "My bicycle masters boardwalk and quagmire with aplomb. Those that doubt me... suck THUMB by choice."

Re: Riding a recumbent often is social suicide ...I don't know about the rest of you but I thought it odd that the headline mentions social suicide but the article does not even touch on it. No lines like:
"Souza used to have lots of upright cycle riding friends but after going to the dark side he lost them in his dust..." or something like that. --Current rides: Cannondale Bad Boy 8 || Surly Big Dummy

Re: Riding a recumbent often is social suicide ...I find it is harder to talk to upwrong riders when stopped at the traffic lights, but often they will bend down to chat. They usually ask "is it comfortable riding that?' followed by "how do you steer?" - I have USS on by 'bent-bike

Re: Riding a recumbent often is social suicide ...Possibly it relates to my reluctance to allow cookies to be harvested. I usually press "Don't Allow" without a second thought, unless it's a "must-have" site like banking etc. I've found it keeps my spam mails down to about 2-3 a week. And most of those are ones that I don't really mind getting.
