Visibility

From the username, you may have surmised... I tend to fish a fair bit. (Boat, yak, mtb to the middle of nowhere)

There is a bit of gear, esp common to kayak fishing which may be adapted to recumbent bikes. Maritime nav lights on poles. Basically ultrabright LED lights on whippy sticks. Search any fishing, boating or yak forum and you'll find some. An absolute must for fog, swell and low light conditions.

May be a safety aid by providing visibility, even in bright conditions. Nav lights are usually visible for 3 miles.

Just thought I'd chuck it out there...
Cheers,
Fisho

Thanks for sharing.
Do you have any favourite websites or shops to recommend?
What light setup do you run?

Post some images if you have any of your set-ups or like Brad said some links I'm always looking for other ways to skin a cat.

I ride a bent and fish from my yak.

Visibility on a bent is not a problem. I feel (and evidently I am) more noticeable on my bent than my upright bikes.

The lights are great on the yak though! :) Dropkicks in (unlit) tinnies at night scare me much more than sharks do.

Cheers,
Graeme
