I need new tires (20x1.35). A visit to the LBS wasn't very encouraging. Which shop can you recommend in the Sydney area where they have these tyres and can give me decent advice?
thanks

Re: Buying tires for the trikemate, lots of advice on bentrider or be a little more specific here and I'm sure there'll be no end of opinions....... : ) what kind of riding are you doing? commuting? audax? touring? do you push it in the corners for some drift or wheel lift? or just tootle along at a sedate pace? what do you have on the trike currently? do you want plush and cruisey or hard and sporty? puncture protection? do you want to ride on water? well maybe not the last one, but I think you get the idea.........
my experience over here in WA is that LBS's will not even be aware there are 20" tyres available other than BMX, and will charge you a fairly (ridiculously?) high mark up to get them in...... or try Craig at justbents or one of 'bent shops more local to you (flying furniture? cyclepartsonline?) cheers glen I like to ride my tricycle
Re: Buying tires for the trikeI get my tyres (16" and 20") from Greenspeed in Melbourne, though I'm in WA. I know they're not in Sydney (in the same way that Australia is not a suburb of New Zealand

Re: Buying tires for the trikeThanks for all the advice. In the end I bought them online from Evans Cycles in the UK. Turns out to be cheaper, esp since freight was free.
Re: Buying tires for the trikeThese are pretty cool for < $7.00 each
