Yes I think so.
There was some discussion a while back on BROL.

Google rotovelo. Brings up quite a bit.

I'll be interested to see how they develop.

}SkOrPn,
When you looked on the Trisled site did you click on News ?
There is info there on Rotovelo. They seem to have hidden it a bit as not yet on the main site.

I had the pleasure of seeing one last weekend at the bike festival, Alex Gardens.
Ben had 2 on display and if he wasn't talking too much about them he was going to do the 50K ride on Sunday. As it was he was flat out and if he didn't get laryngitis I'd be surprised.
The Rotovelos look great and the way they have been designed you are segregated from all the running gear so no muck and water is going to get you. Because of the build it also has a huge amount of storage for... nick nacks etc. But to be honest you would have enough space for a short tour.
Ben has done a lot of work in the design of this and it looks brilliant. So it won't have the niche of a carbon fibre body but its built to a price point that makes it far more accessible to those who were sitting on the fence. In fact it will be some 30% cheaper than other Velos with a performance difference that would need instruments to measure it. I think Ben is on a winner.

Graeme, from Rans Xtreme fame, somehow managed to borrow the prototype from Ben for the 50K ride. He started at the rear and somewhere along the line he passed us and by the time we got to Altona he was already returning so, no photos. If I knew how to post a pic from the festival i would.

Very cool.

There are some interesting pictures of the CruzBike Quest in that photostream too.

Thanks hotdog.
I'm not sure what I did wrong there but I think I forgot the .jpg after the link.
And yes! It was great to see John Tolhurst's brother Kim "peddling" his wares for him. Actually he seems quite a character and as he puts it "We do come from the same parents".
He lives in Geelong and can come up with a Cruzbike if you want to ride one.

William.

Not that simple, you were using the address of the Flickr photo webpage, not the image itself. To post an image from Flickr click the 'Share this' drop down menu above the photo, select the 'Grab HTML/BBCode' submenu, choose an image size (medium is good), select BBCode (instead of HTML) and then copy and paste the code from the box into your forum post.

I actually have a Cruzbike, a Sofrider V2. In general I like it, but I have front wheelspin problems on steep (over 10% gradients) slopes, especially when wet. As it is long and extremely steep I would often find it difficult to ride up my own driveway if it had been raining, which put me off the bike somewhat. I'll be selling it soon to make room for the Bacchetta CA 2.0.
