Greenspeed, the Aussie trike makers, are tinkering again. Apparently this one is being taken down to Antarctica over the summer. Skies are fitted to the front as and when required.

Looks like fun to me! :)

Graeme

Bizarre.

The Greenspeeds are very well made. I'd love to own one just for the pleasure of looking at their workmanship.

All it needs is a 75mm gun and a lick of armour.

Great piece of work for the job at hand.

Shaun,

Your comments made me think this would be a great toy on the beach (armour => Iraq => sand => FUN) Chuck a pair of light-weight tracks on the front and you've got a human powered dune buggy.

Cheers,
Graeme

Cool :D Interesting the way they've fitted brakes, a disc brake on the mid-drive.

That's so you can chip the ice out without stopping

I think it's so you can reach down and warm your hands up on the heat generated by the rotor. Just don't have an "accident" - a hot rotor up the clacker would not be much fun - even in Antarctica!

Steering ?

G'Day Skinny front wheels, I do not think this will steer very well. Good Luck. Recycler. :?

G'day Bob,

It's not a home-made jobby from one of us here - this is a prototype/one-off trike from Greenspeed. They fit skis to the front wheels for the snow. The skinny wheels don't matter.

Cheers,
Graeme
