Ok Here I am. I've voted now. Ride 3 different bents and love 'em all.

I've put some pics of my creations on the Show of your bent here thread.

Gday to rdp David . Good to see you're still around. Email me if you get a chance as I don't have a current for you.

Hi there, newbie here.
I'm builiding a recumbent, but poll hasn't got that option.
Also, I'm interested in the number of "not interested in recumbents": why are these people who voted this way even looking at this thread?

G'day Froodh,

Welcome to the forum.

Building your own, eh? Sounds like fun. Are they commercial plans, or is it your own design you're putting together? Either way, I'll look forward to the photos of the finished bike.

I'd say you'd vote for "Plans to buy one", since it's closest to "Plans to own one".

Why are "non-believers" voting? The members on this forum are fairly open minded cyclists. They'll read and gather information, even if they are happy with their current situation. Members are keen to read about the experiences of other riders. Don't knock it: an open mind is a rare commodity in the cycling world! ;)

Cheers,
Graeme

Hi Graeme,

It is almost finished actually, just needs some minor mods and a lot of practice.

It is a front-wheel drive, like a Cruzbike, except no suspension, and based on a road bike frame instead of MTB.

I'd love to post some pics except I haven't enough posts yet! Maybe Europa could post them for me, I emailed them to him after I contacted him about his Toscana - I'm in Adelaide too, though at the opposite end from him.[/quote]

Hello

Hi,
New to this forum and turned bent this March with my Greenspeed GT3II trike. The trike is a blast but not fast enough, hence, a recent acquisition of a low racer. The LR is fast

When I have racked up more than 10 posts, maybe can post some pics here.

Regards

Chong

I second both points :)

I've recently got my second 'bent, and I don't think it'll be my last... :D

G'day fellers,

I haven't actually taken delivery of my new 'bent yet but it's a done deal. May as well count me in.

Cheers,
Gab.
