Hi all,

thought there might be interest in looking at this.

Riley carbon Groundhugger.

A SA (I Think) school did well in the Solar Challenge with one. There's a link on the site.

That is sensational, the futuristic design really appeals to me especially the 'Terminator' style bolt on fork blades and swing arm. Very encouraging to see that CAD was utilised to enhance the design process.I use various design packages as part of the 8 to 5 slog and I can really see the advantage of using FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to take the guess work out of design intentions.

Nice looking unit, just wondering how the steering shaft bends as it does. CV joint maybe?

Shaun

EDIT, ahh, small (very) uni, woulda thought the angle too sharp :?
