G'day All
Just wondering if there is some mystical place that sell them at a not too ridiculous price including shipping to Australia?
After some with the front pockets.
Aerotech Designs have some on ebay, but unless you are a midget or Andre the Giant good luck with finding some to fit - pricing for postage was only OK if you bought 4+
Reverse Gear are damn pricey.
Cheers

Flying Furniture have Bacchetta jerseys at $50 which isn’t bad. Shipping should be OK from Canberra. Some nice ones here
http://benditcycling.com/jerseys.html, but don’t know about shipping cost. So far I've just persevered with non-recumbent specific jerseys. Usually pick up a couple when they’re on special from places like Torpedo7 or Cell.

Having seen your orange Greenspeed jersey last Sunday I've found that these are sold by Reverse Gear Inc and they have plenty of other patterns. I've also bought Kucharik jetseys, either via EBay or direct from kucharikclothing.com. The Bacchetta jerseys are good, a bit bright. You can also check Hostel Shoppe and Calhoun Cycle for jerseys and brands. Just watch out as there are non-recumbent jerseys mixed in.
I once tried Ground Effect to see if they'd be interested in making a recumbent jersey, no go.

having tried front and side pockets my personal recommendation would be to go with side pockets. I currently use one of the Mt Borah jerseys that can be seen on the Bend it cycles site listed earlier. The side pockets I've found easily accessible on any type of seat (mesh or shell) and allow themselves more to the occasional overstuffing than front pockets that can get in the way if your riding low racers with tiller steering. If your riding a narrow shell seat I've found any traditional jersey with angled outside pockets (eg. Groundeffect) - the outer pockets can usually be accessed although a bit more of a reach than the side pocket. Alex

I made some for a HPV racing crew a while back.
Mesh on the back, no pockets at rear, no finished seams to rub against either.
I'm out of that game now, but they were not too difficult to make.
Can you sew?

You may consider an alternative, if you're concerned about carrying stuff. I've bought a couple of "bum bags"
like this, and stitched on a couple of helmet-type rings to the side of the bag itself, and made a halter strap from an old dog leash, with the clip retained, to go around the belt and over the back of my neck. Depending on which bike I'm riding, I can have the bag at the back (on my mountain bike), under my left arm in a "Sam Browne" fashion on the motor bike, and on the front of my stomach on the 'bent. By adjusting the halter strap at the D-rings I can hoist the bag up or down to make it comfortable.
