Anyone Racing ACT?

Postby Rowley Runner » Wed Apr 25, 2012 2:05 am

I'm thinking of giving the Stromlo Forest Park racing season a bit of a go. Not that i'm fast or fit but think it would be fun. Anyone done these races? What are the distances ect. Keen for some insider knowledge. The Ozhpv site is a bit light on info.

Come and join us. Just an excuse to get the bikes out on a very nice closed circuit. Racing usually consists of time trial (you against the clock on a single lap). A Handicap race (start times based on time trial results) and a longer race (10+ laps). Usually at the track for a few hours so time for recovery and bike sniffing/trying between races. Good fun and a good chance to test yourself and machine on a closed circuit. First event Sat 2 June so hopefully see you there.
