Hi all
After seeing some recent discussions about Velomobile sitings in WA, I wondered how many Velomobiles are around WA. ABC news credited John Lewis with the first, but I believe Baalzamon or Aushiker actually filmed one earlier (but I could be wrong!) so if anybody has any ideas or if you have a Velomobile and live in WA lets hear from you.
by the way I have a Sinner Mango Sport Red Edition in Red and White.

Hi Bartek,
Aushiker posted a short Youtube of a velo on the freeway path I think. Can't see it in our velo thread so think it must have been in the WA forum.
Edit: Here it is. Sorry can't get YT to embed for some unknown reason.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMCJQNv11I8&hd=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It was possibly coreflute but may have been one of the velo trike covers that were used to ride across aus some years back.
Joe Blake mentioned seeing one that was possibly in the Freeway bike ride on Sunday. This was confirmed I think by Justforthehallibut. If I recall it was coreflute and a second attempt.
The only "genuine" velos here so far as I know are our two mangos.
Love to here of more though.
John

Hi John
That would explain the low numbers of replies then
a couple of guys at work reported seeing one on Sunday, looks like it may have been the same one that did the freeway ride.

In case you didn't see it take a look at the last 3 post on page two of the "Fairing for Greenspeed" thread in the recumbent section. Currently it is the next thread below this one.
The velo details are there.

If I can work out how to get my RV over to West Aus, there'll be one more Velomobile for a few days.....
'til I'm organised and ready to ride it back to Sydney.
Meanwhile I'm still the ONLY one in Sydney

Will do Bartek... I'd like to catch up with the WAHPV group as well, I used to join them on their Sunday Brekky Runs yeas ago.
