Interesting... I'll be on the other side of the planet on 14th June, but I might consider giving it a go at one of the later events. I've never raced in any form before, and I'm sure I'd be slow as, but could be fun :)

The details of the winter race series are a little hard to find from the OzHPV home page, the details are found via the events calendar, here. More details here.

Hmmmmmm... seems I'd need chainring guards in order to race. Is there anywhere I can buy them?

Just can't get good help these days - fixed the web page now.

Chaing ring guards can be got from Flying Furniture or Trisled.
I made mine from a sheet of perspex and "triple" chainring bolts.
Here are some other ideas

Thanks Pete, I was about to order a few bits and pieces from Ian anyway, I'll ask him about chainring guards while I'm at it.

I see you've added a link to the winter race series in the sidebar on the OzHPV homepage, but you could probably do with a prominent link to the Events Calendar from the Events page and a link to the winter racing series (and possible the Events Calendar) from the Racing page too. The Events page and the Racing page are the logical place for people to go looking for info on upcoming events or races but as things stand they won't find them there.

Hi Pete,
Wish I lived nearer to Canberra. Those pictures from your website looks like fun and would love to race other recumbents.
