That may be true, but I'd rather admit to driving a Volvo.

People turned against volvos because they were the first car to be marketed in Australia on the basis of safety, which lots of okkers considered distictly unmanly. "Four wheel discs, independent coils, what are ya!? " It is true of course that bad drivers and drunks thought they were a good idea too. Naturally. Just like if you know that you're gonna get doored one day, go feet first. (:

I actually like Volvos, but was simply making an attempt at a poor piece of humour & knocking the poor old recumbent.

I can understand the benefits of such a machine & would really like a crack in a Mango one day. Not just because they're covered in, but if you're going to go all the way why not ?

A normal 2 wheeled recumbent is fast as well......

I can average 31kph for 2 hours on my Musashi at an average HR of 140bpm, can't do that on my Specialized Roubaix !

My Mango is only marginally faster than my Musashi on the same loop....
