Strava Festive 500

Is anyone doing the Festive 500 ?

Did my first ride today, a good start before it gets too hot....a sneaky 148k in the Mango.....

Also got a Herald Sun photo shoot at one of my regular stopping spots......the photos looked very nice, 3 slaved flashguns, one even inside the Race Hood with me

The photos looked fantastic so hopefully I'll get some decent shots of me and my Mango !

Anyone else got any interesting recumbenty Festive 500 stories ?

Just finished it this morning......and got a KOM on a segment with an average of 52.2kph over a 3.1km segment.....

Good on you for finishing. It's a great challenge.

I completed the Festive 500 last year and I really enjoyed it. This year I am renovating a house and working full time so I didn't manage to complete the challenge. I could work and complete the challenge or renovate and maybe complete it but not all three

Oh well, there is always next year
