Chain length relationship to X seam length (trike)

Postby gudism » Fri Feb 14, 2014 11:17 am

Hi all

I've just bought a Performer trike, with the ability to extend the boom, which I will need to do as the previous only was a bit shorter than myself.

My question is there a way to know your chain length relative to your x seam, or do you just extend the boom to suit, then adjust the chain length to the new length?

(sorry if silly and obvious question)

Cheers
Craig

Set the boom length first, then adjust the chain to suit.
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.
