G'day Mark. Got a message from cousin Ree about your trip. If the timing is right, I might be able to help with a bed for the night in Goulburn. Let me know and I'll see what I can manage. Safe travels. David W.

Only just found this thread (and your blog), what a ride! It's a great read going through your blog, checking out the pics etc, inspiring stuff :D . Not too long now! (relatively speaking :) )

Great going Mark.
I've been following on the blog but hadn't checked in for a while.
I must go and catch up.
It will be interesting to hear what you have to say about the RV as a long distance machine now that you have been through the experience.

Route to be decided on the day.

All welcome to tag along.

Hi Mark,
Colleen and me are just recently returned from a month cycling the Mundabiddi trail.
I thought I saw a flouro green tumble weed while flying back to Sydney but it must have been you in the RV.
Colleen and me will meet you at Gloria Jeans on Sat.
See ya.....

Although I have it on good authority that Mark might need an escort from the Preston maccas at the southern end of the m7 from 10am on Saturday!

Mark please let me know if I'm stepping out of line :-)

Hi Mark,
Damn fine effort. 99% of people couldn't even conceive of riding 1% of the distance you've just covered, let alone doing it.
Look forward to seeing to you at SOP tomorrow morning.
Thanks Issabella24 for pointing out my date stuff up.
Hasta Mañana

Congratulation "Recumbenteer" - I knew you could do it!What an achievement. First Velomobile (Rotovelo) to cross Australia
this century.
A mighty fine effort in the riding and keeping me up to date with your blog.

Hey guys,

Just finally cut down my Mobius footage of when Marky D and the Green Jellybean came to Geelong, 3500km into his journey across Australia.....

It was my first chance to ride with another velomobile....I made Mark ride and extra 70km but did show him the nice sights of the Bellarine Peninsula and he drank coffee :-)

Sounds like you are going to be busy in the cutting room ?

How is 'normal' life panning out after such an awesome trip ?

Riggsbie, normal life is very hard to settle into. I've been back 5 days, & am still trying to come to terms with my accomplishment.
Not to mention I've got a 2 week work trip 1st up.

Gonna take me twice as long to settle. LOL

Wonder if the boss will let me take the RV?? LOL
