My Catlike trail came with a Axiom rear rack.
Unfortunately my standard sized Arkel panniers do not fit (the cord between the mount and the bottom hooks is longer than the rack height), and I am looking for a suitable replacement rack. It looks the same as the one pictured here — http://www.catrike.com/#!Cat%20in%20the ... /image13fk — on my trail the top of the rack sits pretty close to flush with the top of the seat (it clashes with the headrest as well: too close)
The rack is also a little busy (the says intersecting the top), impacting on where the top pannier hooks/cam-locks can sit, so even if I can can somehow modify to fit the panniers, it might not be suitable.
Utah Trikes have an adjustable rack — http://www.utahtrikes.com/PROD-11617998.html — though shipping is a significant expense (same price as the rack). Old Man Mountain's Sherpa is recommended by some, though comes in at AU$200 (they are a quality rack). They can be axle or eyelet mounted.
Wondering if there are any other suggestions out there...

Depends whether you want fancy or basic. I bought one of these:

Partly on price and partly because of the mounting flexibility. It still may sit a bit too high over your Trail's rear wheel though.

Thanks @OB. Height seems less an issue than rack length in front of the eyelets.
I am considering/leaning towards the Tubus Logo Classic (still might have length issues) at the moment
