Asia in December

Ok so I am seriously thinking about doing a cycle tour in Asia this December (prob no more than 3 weeks). Combining backroads touring with maybe a day or two of MTB riding if the chance comes up. Most likely destination is Northern Thailand/Laos .... but am open to India or Nepal if I get inspired. If anyone is looking for a riding buddy, I could definitely be talked into something.... or if you wanna tag along with me, then put some pressure on me to make a proper plan!!
