bike hire, Pyrenees

Last week, I climbed Passo Dello Stelvio on my old hybrid bike, and it nearly killed me. I want to ride in the Pyrenees next week, but don't fancy taking the Hybrid Torture. Can anyone recommend a bike hire shop near Col Du Tourmalet, please?

I know absolutely nothing about them, but a quick Google turned up these guys which look to have what you need. Luz St Saveur is the perfect location to start climbing the Tourmalet from west to east.

I have dealt with these guys (Matthew Collins) and they are very helpful - unfortunately my trip has not gone ahead this year and I had to cancel, but I had booked a Scott CR1Pro for E540 for 2 weeks. They also deliver and pick up from various points for extra charge, eg. E15 to Argeles-Gazost, and E65 to Bertran.

Cheers...

Actually I'm not sure anyone is going to be riding from Luz St Saveur up the western side of the Tourmalet any time soon. Things looking pretty chaotic there at the moment. Hope it improves for when I get there in mid July. See link below.

The eastern side may be better.

I hear that Luchon is under water at the moment, so several of the valleys must be suffering from the snow melt...might even affect a Tour stage. What a disaster for the bike tourism industry. Chris and Helen from Pyractif have got a Coast to Coast going through there right now.
