cycling tour of cambodia

Postby rambler1au » Thu Sep 04, 2008 8:37 pm

I have a few cyclist friends who would like to to a 10 - 14 day trip tp cambodia cycling through.

The group is about 10 to 15 people and I suppose we would need one of the cycling tours so everyone has a reasonably good time and I can organise it reasonably easily

My question is there seem to be a few tour companies advertised on this website and Im wondering if anyone has had any experience with these tour groups both good or bad and has any tips..
What’s with these recumbent bicycles? Listen, buddy, if you wanna take a nap, lie down. If you wanna ride a bike, buy a bicycle

with the itinerary like this:

Day1: Arrival Phnom Penh
Day2: Phnom Penh- City tours
Day3: Phnom Penh-Kep
Day4: Kep city
Day5: Kep-SihanoukVille
Day6: SihanoukVille

Day8: SihanoukVille-Phnom Penh
Day9: Phnom Penh–Siem Reap
Day10: Siem Reap–Angkor

i suppose that is the great one. it cost about 100us$/person/day included:

- Mountain bike cycle
- All transfers
- Truck or bus sponsor behind during cycling
- Boat trip to island in Sihanoukville with BBQ lunch & onto Tonle Sap - Mechanics and all bike tools
