I'm thinking of riding from Milan, or Malpensa airport, to Lake Orta this September. It's the start of a longer trip. I'd prefer to drive but this is a way of simplifying our transport logistics.
If anyone can advise me on road conditions and options in this area, I'd appreciate it.
