Slammed and Raked

Postby larren » Thu Jun 09, 2011 7:13 pm

My son and I are building him a new bike for a car show. He won 1st place in the lowrider section last year and was keen to build another one.
Not really a lowrider, but the organisers are pretty flexible and will let most bikes enter.
Started out as a Bratz bike and we cut about 50mm out of the seat stays, cut down the seat tube and raked the front end.

We were going to paint it a metallic green, but time is running out and rain is forecast, so it'll probably end up being red oxide primer for the show.

Looking good when you get all the other bits on it should look sweet. We had a Bratz lowrider a while ago a purple one, so going by yours im glad there were other colors.
Make sure you do some positive thinking on that rain.. :D : D let us know how you go.
