Ratty Cruiser

Postby Pushie Pirate » Sat Apr 27, 2013 6:55 pm

All my custom bikes have nice paint so I wanted a Rat style bike that was practical and didn't
matter if I scratched it, this one has a nice riding position and is really comfortable to ride!
That ratty look, buffed all the paint off and let the ocean air that surrounds me do its work!
Here is the main parts of the frame before assembly.

The bike and the dog shot and as I said she has to be practical so rear mike crate cut down as a freight box and surf board rack

Used a modded rear axle stand, bent a loop in it to make it shorter.

Nice chain guard, the shifter lever is a piano pedal with a small piston mounted at one end, have made it so it can swivel around the pipe
it's mounted to so you can have the piston up on the left hand side, why, just because I can!

If you post any more pics of these great bikes you're making i'll have to give it a crack myself, they're all so cool. And you have a bit nicer background for your pics than the usual garage roller door  .
When man invented the bicycle he reached the peak of his attainments- Elizabeth West.
