Went over to JubeCustoms KelvinGrove to get a new 4.25 rear wheel. Thought i might take my last build matt black n blue to show Scott. He loved it, we talked for a couple hours, awsome guy. After the white and green build im currently on, i have ideas for one more, after that im keen to start building custom bikes to order. Hit me up if you have something cool in mind, challenge me, its how i excell. Image

Keep the updates coming, awesome work. Not really my cup of tea for riding (not enough ground clearance) , but plenty of kudos for the building.

Gots the chubby rubber, 4.25 x 24 inch rear from Jube customs, settin off the rear end. I cant decide what theme im gonna do, i have some sweet surface area to play around with, i wanna spash something on it. Im still liking white and lime green, maybe matt white. Not sure these cranks will stay on either. Image

Got a fair bit done this weekend, tidying up and finishing off bits. Fabricated the saddle mount and got the suspension on. I dont have the stem yet so i tacked on some old dragster bars to the head tube, so i could take it for its maiden voyage. Took it around the block, the bars are too high, get it low. Its pretty smooth though, a little heavy but good gear ratio. Just got to cap off and finish up, then its powder coat and feature artwork time. Hangin out for that.

All the small parts are ready to go, thanks to ebay and a couple other sites. I always try to buy from local bike shops but its rare they have what i need, which is usualy pretty specific. So this is all online shopping.Image

My goal with this blog is to meet like minded designer/fabricators of chopper bicycles in my area to bounce ideas and processes off. Since that has not happened, although i apprciate the feedback, this is not what i'm looking for. This will be the last post unless somthing changes. Thank you

Image------------Freshly powder coated and awaiting some artwork on all that sweet surface area, once I decide what to do that is. If you want it, I would love to sell it to a worthy buyer.

Nice work. How rideable are they?

I wasnt' suggesting they are non functioning. I have never ridden anything remotely like that closest I've got is a 20" dragster bike. What I meant is are they more difficult to ride/handle/turn than a more regular shaped bike as they seem very long and low.
