Scored four of these E Choppers, the mother load, seeing as I have four,
one red and three orange will keep the red and one of the orange ones as
is. The other two orange jobs will be getting the chop, can't help myself!
Decided to chop them into bobbers or at least closer to looking like a motor
bike. So taking out some rake in the forks with some cuts in the frame then
will shorten the forks to suit, will be doing this to both of them as I made up
a 20inch disk brake rim as well as the bigger front rim. Striped back one frame
today came a part quite well considering the rust that was on them.
You can see the different rake in the pic's below, the front one is how she
came but she will be getting the chop as well!

Got the welding done liking the new line of the tank, thought I would like the 20inch front
wheel one more but now leaning to the one with the bigger front wheel!
Going to go minimal of the 20inch job, no fenders skateboard deck seat, see how she evolves.

After my pre pain mock up got the frame striped and primed, did a little mod on
the small sissy bar can be on or off will see how she looks.
Going for the bobber look so cut the fender and also lowered it closer to the tyre.
Like with my Indian build I am going for a bit of a fake patina look, so a base coat of red oxide.
Then used hairspray, (yep some cheapo yellow and black hairspray) and sprinkled standard
table salt over areas of the parts that I wanted the primer to show through the top coat.
Sprayed a light coat of Matt Black over the frame, used Black board paint, all I had, took a
couple of goes to get this looking okay!
I'm going for Hot Rod Rat Bobber if there is such a thing, pretty happy with my attempt at patina,
hopefully some more will come on as I ride her around. Rides okay, bit heavy, I did pull a lot of
the guts out of the electric hub, as you can see used a small front sprocket the lower gearing
helps.
Only recently scored this chunky spot light, perfect for this baby!
Here is a bit of a closer look at the patina attempt.
Thanks for putting this on Luke and others had fun and Happy New Year to all from
one of the first places in the World to see in 2015!
