Aaaaaaand its snowing for MSR. Race neutralised between 117 and 137km (Tuschino). Teams to bus between points. And some have Sky don't have a bus. Interesting.

Loved this quote Koen de Kort wrote:It's snowing so much this could be biathlon. If so, can I be shot first?"
I was going to buy a fast, stylish bike, but I looked in the mirror & thought " you're not fooling anyone, you know"

I watched the whole thing on the SBS stream (even though they have 4 channels at their disposal)
with about 16kms to go SBS started their coverage, i thought "awesome, i'll get to see the last 16kms on the big TV"
nope.
by the time the race had finished on the stream and they were still showing their pre-race preview etc etc etc.
absolutely ridiculous, they have 3/4 channels at their disposal, at one time they were show the same documentary on SBS HD, SBS ONE and SBS TWO when they could have been showing the race live.
great finish though, i'm glad i persevered.

I had a couple of naps, but caught the last 50km. Interesting that Ciolek won in similar circumstances to Gerro, but wasn't portrayed as a their of the stage ! Anyway, congrats to all that finished

Ciolek played 'em like cheap fiddles! Good on him, wild card and all ... let those millionaires do all the work. Note that he wasn't on anyone's wheel in that final stretch ... he put in the big ones to finish!

He is a established sprinter/lead out man as Sagan is still young and doesn't have a good kick

He also kept up with Cancellara and Sagan in the descent.
