Dream team for next year’s tour

Postby Dial » Fri Jul 31, 2009 10:33 pm

What would your dream team be?
You can only pick one GC rider (AC, Andy, LA, Wiggins, Frank, Kloden, Nibali, Vander Velde)

Team "Google Billiton"
Andy Schleck (I think next year will be his year)
Levi Liepheimer (great climber and the rock of the team)
Cadel Evans (great TT and support in the mountains)
Jens Voight (team moral and great all-rounder)
Stuart O’Grady (It’s not a “team” without Stewie)
Sandy Casar (Is there ever a break away without him in it?)
Mark Renshaw (I think can beat Cav given the chance)
Thor Hushovd (He’s had his day but best man to deliver Renshaw to the line)

So unless you can come up with a better team, it looks like Johan Dial wins

You already broke your rule. Both LL and CE are GC riders. :P
Bianchi, Ridley, Tern, Montague and All things Apple :)

I just took the top 10 from this years race as GC. Cadel not GC in my eyes, LL fair call but he did abandon so didn't make top 10

So your team is going for the dual yellow and green? Split goals for the team, tough job...hasn't been done since '97 I think.
