Doesn't anyone care?

...that Cadel is running 3rd after stage 10 of the Vuelta? He's 20 something seconds behind 2nd place, and 2.5mins behind first.
Is he a possibility for a win do you think?

Not according to the write-up. Supposedly the race route provides plenty of opportunities to gain and lose time. Fingers crossed.MichaelB wrote:2 and a bit minutes is a fair bit to make up
Maybe it's worthwhile watching the Spanish news on SBS every day. I should check it out.

I thought time could be made up too. It is only day 11 after all...another week and a bit to go. He has been gaining ground, but the two in front of his are pretty good GC riders so won't get "lost" on the bumps unfortunately.
Never thought to check the Spanish news. It is all in Spanish though isn't it?!
I didn't think cyclingnews had it as prominent as the giro or the tour on thier website either. So much for the big 3...more like the big 1 with 2 slightly smaller ones!!

Well, some video via Spanish news would be better than nothing.
As long as there are mountains and TTs, there'll be chances for major time gains and losses. This time, Predictor-Lotto has a team dedicated to Evans. He has no excuse for not getting on the podium.

I would love to see him win but I think Denis is riding a lot stronger...Cadel didn't have a great TT when he should have gone in to the lead...spose we will see.

Menchov claims he is feeling very comfortable in first because the hardest racing of the three weeks has finished. However I think when you get into the second and thirds weeks of a tour its more likely for someone to just blow up. So Cadel is still a chance for the win, but following a big tour schedule I think he will just finish on the podium, likely second following the TT.

Looks like someone has complained to the ABC radio - Cadel's efforts were included in the sport report this morning!! Yay!!
Can't wait for the SBS highlight reel...where they conpress a 3 week grand tour into 50 minutes. Should be a hoot.

The last TT is only 20k long so he will have to hammer it...some good mountain stages left but this is a funny tour of Spain, the hardest tages at the start!.I think there is one mountain top finished left....senator52 wrote:Menchov claims he is feeling very comfortable in first because the hardest racing of the three weeks has finished.
