Shara Gillow has just started her TT.

There's only a few riders out on the course at the moment.

Phil Liggett commentating as Jeanie Longo is about to start... "she only looks 21 years of age". Now I'm in awe of Ms Longo's achievements, an absolute legend of the sport but it's time Phil got some better glasses as Jeannie clearly looks her age. As if age matters anyway as in her case no one in France can beat her and she's still competitive at world level.

Pooley is looking like taking 1st when she crosses the line.

7 Olympics is a long time to be at the top of your field that's for sure.

Phinney is a huge talent, super effort by Durbridge all the same. Some careful cornering in the wet may have made all the difference.

Do you realise that.....Europeans are doing what the Aussies have to do for the TDF, and the other grand tours, the classics and anything that you can get live on TV. Stay up late.

Dowsett's bike change due to the tyre rolling off (on what was not a huge corner) was a disgrace

They didn't even have a spare wheel ready ????

Watching Cancellara is a lesson for all cyclists in how to go around corners, absolute as one with the bike. Reminds me of K Schwantz the great GP rider, the way he straight lines a corner and almost drifts the back wheel.

Disappointment for Rogers and Porte (still an amazing effort), but Fab is just a machine at the TT.

The overall average with those hills and corners is insane !!!!

So, who has got the Canc on their team ????
