Landis stripped of win

Postby tuco » Tue Oct 16, 2007 9:45 am

I heard on the way to work that the yellow jersey was officially given to the second placed rider, Perrero(sp?) I think it was.

I have no other facts than that, you all know how to use google.
I think we can do better. I KNOW we can do better.

Thank goodness for that. Maybe we can move on now. Pity about the damage that was done to Pierrero's career though (a TdF win should make you a rich man, but not eighteen months after the event. Maybe he could sue Landis).

don't rely on my spelling of the bloke's name either

And it should of been resolved before the next TDF so he could of ridden as the title defender.

Amen. Talk about ripped off.

...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.
