Could be interesting to see where they go this. Not quite sure just how much an advantage it would give really, especially over a 7.8km TT.

Also Leopard are using the excuse that Frank needed to stay hydrated even over such a short race. Wonder how many times he can be seen on video actually drinking anything

I thought the idea was to be as light as possible.. if the camelbak was empty that thats obviously a big no-no but if it was full then wouldnt an extra 2-3KG be a disadvantage also?

Naughty. Mightn't be a huge gain but it takes just a second to win. Put money on the team wind tunnelling this a while back, they know what they're up to...

A pint of black gold just before saddling up woulda been all the hydration needed. Sub 10" for cryin' out loud.

TT is all a rubbish arms race anyway. Talk about half measures. No, you can't have a bent and/or a fairing, but all this other rubbish is allowed. If it was really just about the riders then all the bikes would be exactly the same supplied by the UCI and clothing too. Setup would also be standard.

Just 'cause you can't win on a spindly steel frame with 155mm cranks and a rosebank stack hat doesn't mean you have to write off the whole discipline :P . It's already heavily regulated with the 3:1 rule and saddle 5cm behind the bottom bracket.
