Paris-Roubaix is shaping up as a big night of cycling - isn't it on the same night as last meet of UCI Track Worlds from Melbourne?

No chance - the ad skip button is the only cure for him.

On the SBS schedule it states "live to eastern states". What does this mean for us in Perth? What time will it be on?
I'm Belgian so I 'd kill to see the TOF!!

From memory what they have done in the past for similar broadcasts is show it in the same timeslot, so I would say ~2 hour delay for Perth Viewers. Which sucks if you want to follow the events where they are streaming live via cycling central for the early part. Not sure if the live streaming continues once coverage goes to air or not. If it does you should be able to follow it live that way.

Yep, this is how they have done it in the past. best to check the local guide on Sunday or the SBS web site for the Perth TV guide.
I'm not too worried, I just appreciate that we will get coverage. Can't wait (I'm hoping it rains for PR as I've only ever really watched it when it's been dry and dusty).

OK, so the schedule says both 10:30 for Sydney and Perth it should be 10:30 pm start of broadcast here in Perth?

http://www.yourtv.com.au says we have coverage 10:30pm-2:30am.
so if that's correct, i would guess we get to see the last 160-ish kms?
OR! that's a mistake and we only get to see the last 100 or so live (1030-1230am)
either way, we'll get to see the important bits on SBS, and aside from that we'll probably be able to watch on SBS website
and we won't have to stay up as late as the eastern staters.

Is it possible to get an international commentary feed? David Harmon and Sean Kelly from Eurosport are simply brilliant. The main attraction is they actually call the race and give real time analysis of what's happening. I find myself smarter at the end of race as a result of listening to them. Keenan seems to be reading off dot points and always seem to be telling us what happened in the past which is utterly pointless, and annoying for 2-3 hours. Big thumbs up though to SBS for delivering more FTA cycling to Australia.

Can anyone post links of good working streams?
Usually I use sport livez but they don't do the job here in Australia unfortunately

http://www.sbs.com.au/cyclingcentral/ will have a live stream starting in a couple of minutes, that'll probably be the best quality one for us. Otherwise use steephill.tv to find live streams.
edit - cyclingcentral stream already live

SBS live stream is pathetic!
One second chunks - I guess they dont have sufficient band width for all the viewers.
