They are mad. Think of the accident that could have happened because of the little white dog and its silly owner.

Don't know if that was meant to be part of the officially sanctioned ASO commentary. :lol:

Don't get much closer than that.

Gerrans wooohoooo!!!

Stage three win and beats Sagan on the line. Great day for Orica GreenEdge. Simon Clark was awesome picking up polka dot points through out the stage and I was willing him on to get over the last mountain in the lead to take the jersey.

Sagan refused to watch a replay of the finish afterwards. Go Impey/Gerro!

Moments like that are precisely why I still have my old 50"...... unlike my new TV it does PIP so all I had to decide is which wanted I wanted to listen to while I watched both.

And.... GERRO!!!!

Awesome stuff by OgE last night, congrats to them :) I got a 1-2-4 in my swapping version of the fantasy league for that one :P

Just saw the photo finish picture up close on here http://www.news.com.au/sport/simon-gerr ... 6672852739" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Notice how Gerrans looks squashed and Sagan looks stretched? Because photo finish cameras are strip cameras, this means Gerrans actually crossed the line going faster than Sagan, so it wasn't even a case of Sagan leaving his sprint a shade too late :)

Impey's lead out was masterful. The way he cut past Sagan and co in that last corner was the winning move. In a few seconds Sagan went from second wheel behind his team mate (couldn't lose) to third wheel behind Gerrans and Impey (had to fight for it). Kudos to Gerrans for taking it home, but this win was a classic example of the difference a good lead out makes.

Idiots. Calling Gerro a sprint specialist. The mainstream media still can't be arsed to even do some basic research for their stories. Just visit his profile page at the GreenEdge site ffs, takes 30 seconds and it means you don't come off as idiots.

Rant over.

I wonder if Clarke would have been better dropping back to the peleton for the last climb and hitting it at the top when Rolland would of attacked. I think he would of been a little fresher that way.

Geraint Thomas has been racing with a fractured hip since Saturday's smash-up. Needs help to get his leg over the bar at the start of the day. That's toughness.

Great result, and one that was well needed. I felt the novelty of a Aussie-based team had worn off and they needed to produce big results consistently. This certainly ticks that box.

Hopefully Gossy rallies off the back of this and nabs a stage or 2

Being so early in the tour, and thinking OGE was mostly a sprint team, I took last night as an opportunity to catch up on sleep (4ish hours the previous two nights in a row). Now I wish I had stayed up and been a real zombie today. :(

Congrats OGE and Gerrans! I am absolutely stoked about this! Think the mainstream media will finally mention the TDF now?
