This guy is an interesting rider.
Sensational in both TT's during this years tour, he is also a pretty solid climber and finished top 10 in at least 1 of the sprint finishes during the tour.
He's a pretty good allrounder and IMHO could have finished much higher in the overall classification (he finished 25th) if he had attacked less and covered a little more.
Not sure what his goals were coming into the tour, nor would I know what the teams instructions were (obviously), but he seemed to be on the attack no matter what the conditions or if the stage was flat or if the road went up.
And still after all that he was strong enough to ride a brilliant final TT.
Was thinking that here is a guy who could be a top 10 finisher, maybe even higher, if he rode a little more discreetly.
