Correct me if l wrong but weren't there reports that Evans hurt his knee or something leading up to the TdF? When he was training in the Alps or something.
If so, is this the same troublesome knee (if it was a knee)?

I think it's quite honourable of Cadel Evans to proactively vacate his ITT spot to Michael Rogers when he wasn't sure of the extent of his injury. He could have kept the spot despite being 98% fit.

I literally just got off the phone to the Australian embassy in Beijing. No joke.

They wanted me to sub in for Cadel whose knee might not be coming up as well as expected and they needed to get me a sporting visa , pronto. This bit is a joke.
