The Chicken has confessed too

"I used EPO, growth hormone, testosterone, DHEA, insulin, IGF-1, and cortisone and did blood transfusions," Rasumssen said reading a prepared statement, looking pale and emotional but in control.

BTW, who is 'The Moose' :?:

[quote="der Ungar"]
at present, the sport is continually dragged down by scandal after scandal and we don't really know who's riding clean and who's not, which is very damaging to cycling. There is much more mainstream press about doping scandals than events and performances. Permitting doping would level the playing field and provide transparency.

I'm not arguing in favour of doping - I'm saying there's a discussion worth having about whether using performance-enhancing agents is really that much of a leap from, say, using the new Speedo swimsuit at the Olympics, or a more aerodynamic cycling helmet, or a tennis racket with a bigger head and sweet spot./quote]

Hi der Ungar, Re ..." I'm saying there's a discussion worth having"

I reckon that discussion has been had, and it pretty much been agreed that doping is illegal.
What I think you are suggesting is that doping be allowed to the top players and presumably by a nominated amount? Then we have to police that nominated amount?
Don't make much sense to me .

The Chicken said he did the 2007 TdF on 5 blood bags, 100,000 units of EPO, cortisone and growth hormone. Remember who effortlessly kept up with him in the mountains? Contador. Meanwhile, Evans lost minutes and looked like he was going to die on mountain top finishes (whereas during his mountain bike days the Chicken couldn't keep up).

Contador has been amazing in those days but was less than stellar on his return. No surprise there are questions asked.

I said "moose", and that's what he was referred to on this site over the last couple of years. "The Chicken"? - I'd not heard that one before.

Even if they don't turn out to be PEDs, you've got to wonder if they contributed to his very evident paranoia.

Worryingly for the prosecution, apparently her bladder was empty and there were no defence wounds.

Not that this is the place to discuss this, but...
Strangely, the Defence reported they found a spent bullet cartridge casing in the toilet bowl.
Botha acknowledged that Pistorius's legal team had also found a spent bullet cartridge
in the toilet bowl in the bathroom that his officers had not.

Serebryakov returns positive out of competition test, but nothing about what substance
Biciciclismo report Serebryakov as saying "I, Alexander Serebryakov, wish to clarify the matter of my recent positive doping control. I want to make it clear that the team has nothing to do with this situation, and that it is a personal problem that I will try to clarify in the next few days.

Team Euskaltel Euskadi and its technical, medical and support staff have always emphasized their commitment to zero tolerance with doping, and their work in favour of a clean, transparent and credible cycling. I deeply regret what happened, and I apologize to the team and my teammates for this unfortunate situation."

True. Which then makes me look at Alejandro Valverde coming back from his ban riding as well or better than before and think, hmmm...
