What a race !!!

Managed to catch the hour and a bit prior to SBS broadcasting it, so happy there.

Was a great race where there were some good ebbs & flows, and the last 40km were nail biting.

Dared to dream that Estaban would win, and he did.

Also enjoyed the footage of the Madonna (been there and done that ) del Ghisallo - man that was a tough climb.



The descent down from Servinio looked magnificent.

+1 one of the better races I've seen this year. Rosa screwed up the last 300 metres or so but was the strongest. I wanted Uran to win and Chaves is class. With his boyish looks he reminds me of the paper boy that wandered in and stole the show.

Reckon they should do a pine of Chaves supporter t shirts with his face, the Columbia and Aussie flag with the words
