Strade Bianchi

Nothing on this?? I only watched the last 1.5 hrs via Youtube, but that was one of the best inter. races I've seen for a while. Benoot looked like a hardman of old.....bare arms, hands and legs, covered in crapola. Bardet has forced me to respect a Frenchie!!, and Van Aert's fall and remount with less than 1,000m to go and pick up 3rd....impressive. Excellent racing.

Edit...just found this.

That's one fighting man. Respect

Didn't see it, and seems like I missed a great race.

What I think is great so far in 2018, is that there have been atypical winners to some great races this year - Impey (AT) TDU, Wellens (AT) Ruta del Sol, even Poels, and now Benoot (AT) Strada Bianchi with even a 2nd by Bardet, stage win by Haas at Abu Dhabi

Only spoiler to that has been Valverde (AT) Abu Dhabi.

Hope rest of the season is like this, unexpected, but deserving winners !!

Yes it was quite an exciting race. Australia's Robert Power finishing sixth was a great result, especially after his period of illness and injuries. Just found this video of Robert Power winning an U23 race in Italy some years ago.
